A curved brick paver driveway, boxwood-planted oval centerpiece, and estate-scale stonework on a Hockessin property.
This Hockessin estate had the architecture but not the surround. The owners asked for an entry sequence the home deserved, and an outdoor program that read as one connected design from the gate to the back patio.
We built a comprehensive landscape and hardscape program around this multi-gable brick estate, anchored on a sweeping curved brick paver driveway. The drive enters from a brick-columned gate at the road, sweeps past the house, and culminates in a circular paver loop around a boxwood-planted oval centerpiece. A brick paver entry courtyard meets the front doors, with a brick step landing and a small lamp-lit detail path. Along the side of the home, a flagstone walkway with stacked-stone bed edging threads past the equipment area down to the back of the property. At the elevation change, massive stone slab steps and boulder retaining walls hold the grade. Around back, a round paver patio with boulder edging and a larger paver patio with chaise seating step out to the lawn and woodland edge, with dogwoods and mature trees forming the backdrop.
The driveway loop and oval centerpiece give the home the kind of arrival you don't forget. The boxwoods will fill in over the next few seasons, and the back patios already see daily use.

This is the kind of estate-scale work Kevin and the Nature's Call team do across Hockessin, Greenville, Chadds Ford, Garnet Valley, and throughout northern Delaware and southeastern Pennsylvania. Every project is designed to the specific property — no two are the same.
