A multi-zone composite deck with built-in outdoor kitchen, recessed hot tub, and a square fire pit lounge.
This Chadds Ford family wanted a back deck that worked as three rooms in one: a cooking zone, a relaxing zone, and a fire pit lounge. The existing yard sloped away from the house with no real outdoor space.
We designed and installed a multi-zone composite deck behind the house, organized into three connected outdoor rooms. A built-in outdoor kitchen anchors one end with a granite-topped bar, gas grill, and storage cabinetry, fronted by wicker bar-height seating. The center hosts a recessed hot tub and a pair of wicker chaise lounges. At the far end, a square concrete-topped propane fire pit sits at the heart of a curved deep blue wicker sectional. Bluestone stepping stones rise from the lawn to the deck, and a black aluminum railing traces the perimeter. The decking itself is two-tone composite with charcoal accent boards along the edges.
The deck has become the family's main entertaining space. The autumn colors of the surrounding tree line frame every gathering, and the fire pit extends the season well into November.

This is the kind of work Kevin and the Nature's Call team do across Chadds Ford, Garnet Valley, Greenville, Hockessin, and throughout northern Delaware and southeastern Pennsylvania. Every project is designed to the specific property — no two are the same.
